Build:
Tall with broad shoulders and chest, muscled body and lean, long legs. Griffin never really pays attention too his body image; he's just always been naturally muscled ever since he hit puberty.
Stance:
Usually standing with his shoulders squared and back straight, Griffin still manages too look casual and pleasant. When he's walking, he tends to hold his head high and gaze thoughtfully at the things around him.
Clothing style
Griffin doesn't mind what he's wearing, as long as it isn't obscene or overly dramatic to the eye. He prefers cool colors and classic styles that are simple yet attractive. His favored shirts of choice are slim fitting v-neck's, mainly being soft shades or having images of nature scenes, such as trees or birds. He's always been rather fond of cargo shorts and dress shirts as well. On occasion if he's feeling lazy, he'll pull on a pair of athletic shorts and t-shirts with amusing sayings and images; and even if it looks a bit tacky and silly, Griffin tends to wear flip flops with his jeans.
Basic appearance
Griffin is tall, but with a muscled and toned body; his weight is in tune with his body type and height. The Australian's hair is a dark brown, cut short and a bit longer near the center on the top of his head; hints of auburn can be see in the sunlight as well. Unlike some, Griffin's facial features are sharp, hard, and richly defined with a tight jaw and high cheekbones. Pale lips are of normal size, the bottom a bit plumper then the top; his chin is a bit angular, giving his face an elegant oval shape. His body parts are neatly pa-portioned, although his feet are a bit small for his height and gender; only size 10. His hips are a bit small, giving his torso a slenderizing effect. Griffin's eyes are a dark green, tinted with the faintest hint of blue, and may look a bit hazel in certain lighting's; their not anything special or of extravagant color or dazzling brightness, but rather plain yet pleasant.
!personality!
Griffin is a quiet and reserved individual, but by no means bitter or cold, but who is interested in security and peaceful living. He has a strongly-felt internal sense of duty, which lends him a serious air and the motivation to follow through on tasks. Organized and methodical in his approach on things, he can generally succeed at any task which he undertakes.
The Australian is very loyal, faithful, and dependable. He places great importance on honesty and integrity. He could be considered a "good citizen" who can be depended on to do the right thing for his family and community. While he generally takes things very seriously, he also has an offbeat sense of humor and can be a lot of fun when given the opportunity.
Even though Griffin does not realize it completely, he is not naturally in tune with his own feelings and the feelings of others. He may have difficulty picking up on emotional needs immediately. Being a perfectionist himself, he has a tendency to take other people's efforts for granted, like he takes his own efforts for granted. At times he needs to remember to pat people on the back once in a while.
Griffin is not cold, unhappy or mean, he's just uncomfortable expressing affection and emotion to others. However, his strong sense of duty and the ability to see what needs to be done in any situation usually allows him to overcome his natural reservations, and he is usually quite supporting and caring with the people that he loves. Once Griffin realizes the emotional needs of those who are close to him, he puts forth effort to meet those needs.
As said before, Griffin is extremely faithful and loyal. Traditional and family-minded, he will put forth great amounts of effort at making his home and family run smoothly. He cares deeply about those close to him, although he usually is not comfortable with expressing his love. Griffin usually expresses his affection through actions, rather than through words. Although friendships do not rank highest in Griffin's list of important relationships, he does value his friends and puts effort into enhancing and maintaining his relationships with them. Griffin is likely to choose to be around people who have similar interests and perspectives to his own, and has very little patience with people who are very different from himself.
Griffin's word is as good as gold, and he honors his commitments faithfully. He believes that to do otherwise would be nothing less than a breach of honor and trustworthiness.
Griffin is driven to fulfill his responsibilities and duties, and will do so with tireless effort; considering this, he's a straight A student who is more then committed to complete his school work. He will do his best to meet the obligations presented by the different relationship roles which he plays part in during his life. He tends to have difficulty showing warmth, but he frequently feels it in abundance, and develops the ability to show it through sheer effort. Griffin will do everything that he can do to foster and maintain healthy relationships.
Unfortunately, he is not naturally likely to consider his friends or lovers feelings and emotions in daily living. Many individuals usually expect a lot of positive affirmation, which Griffin does not naturally give. Often Griffin needs to remember that others may need to hear that they are loved and valued, even if Griffin doesn't necessarily need to hear this himself.
Sexually, Griffin will most likely approach intimacy from a physical perspective, rather than as a means of expressing love and affection. He usually has a problem expressing his deepest feelings, even though they may be very strongly felt.
Although his usual mode of being is very serious-minded, Griffin likes to have fun and let loose. When he lets go of his quiet wall, he's very optimistic and fun-minded, although at times his enthusiasm may eventually get on people's nerves.
& phobias
Aviatophobia- Fear of flying.
- Although Griffin has never had a bad experience of flying in planes personally, the mere thought of it makes his head swim and lungs tighten. The one time he went on an airplane he nearly had a panic attack and passed out from being so frightened; he prefers too drive everywhere as opposed to flying. At any rate, he avoids flying at all costs.
Claustrophobia- Fear of confined spaces.
- Ever since he was a little kid, Griffin has hated enclosed spaces; sometimes even being surrounded by too many people or if he feels like he doesn't have enough room when being hugged or cuddled, he goes into a state of fear and nervousness. Its not as serious as some cases, but at times he needs to go into an open area to calm himself, or else he'll go into panic. He tries too warn people about his condition before hand, so he or them won't make any accidental mistakes that might cause his claustrophobia to overtake him.
& the good
!Loyal!
No matter what, Griffin always keeps his word and strives to be honest too everyone. He takes his commitments and duties very seriously, and does his best to do everything the best he can with every drop of effort he can muster. At times people have trouble understanding how Griffin can be so loyal to the people around him; he simply feels that being disloyal is a violation to his character, even if people have hurt and bee disloyal to him in the past.
!Kind & Caring!
He may seem quiet and maybe a bit too serious, but Griffin is very compassionate and kind towards others. If he truly loves you, Griffin will have a really hard time expressing his feelings or emotions, and may come off as uncaring. He has the most trouble expressing his own deep personal feelings. Even if he doesn't like you, he'll still be warm and affirming; he's just like that by nature. When people are mean too him for any reason, Griffin will hardly ever snap back or return the harsh comments. Instead he'll remain calm and unruffled, and try to stay polite. If he see's somebody that is hurt or down, Griffin will try to help them feel better with uplifting words or actions. It bothers him to see people unhappy.
!Optimistic!
Griffin is generally very up-beat and positive; not many things get him down, and he tries to pass his warmth too others as much as possible. If something does happen to hurt Griffin's feelings deeply and harshly, he gets extremely unhappy and balances on the verge of begin depressed. When this happens, he does things that make him happy, such as singing or running.
!Polite!
Griffin grew up in a proper and rather high-quality state of living, and knows his manors. He may tend too come off a bit too pristine, but many seem to find his polite and kind air too be refreshing.
& the ugly
|Quiet|
People tend to find Griffin's quiet and reserved attitude to be a bit frustrating, since it makes it difficult to get too know him. In grade-school, some thought he was mute because he was so quiet. Over the years he learned too open up more, but at times still slips into his old habit of not speaking up around people he doesn't really know.
|Low Patience|
Despite his warm optimism and skill for not being ruffled easily, Griffin has a low tolerance for people with different perspectives of his own, or people that linger on a bad situation for too long, etc.

Family members
Father. Evan James Hansen - 52 - Neurosurgeon
Griffin and his father share a close bond like many father's and son's. If Griffin needs to get something off his chest, or just talk too someone, his father his one he goes to. Evan is understanding of his only son with a happy and out loud persona, and was even loving and accepting when Griffin came out and confessed that he was bisexual. At one point in time, Evan had even tried to hook up Griffin with some nice young men in an attempt to prove that he didn't mind his son's sexuality; it was utterly embarrassing and Griffin made sure it never happened again. Evan's busy and stressful job has kept him away from home often, and has put the two's relationship on hold more then once; Griffin understands this and doesn't mind when his father is away.
Mother. Katie Marie Hansen - 47 - Surgery nurse
Griffin is more like his mother then anything; they share the same quiet and calm attitude, and get along just fine. They've had their ups and downs like any family, but in the end Griffin loves his mother full-heartedly. When she's not working, Katie loves to just hang out and talk with Griffin, and the two often go out to eat together or just spend an evening on the beach outside their home, sipping at fine wine and mulling over the day's events. Griffin tends too express his deepest feelings with his mother; for example, she was the first too learn about his sexuality, and she was just as supporting as her husband.

History
Griffin was born on a late evening on October 28th, 1992. He grew up on the beaches of Carnarvon, surfing and other various water sports. He lived a normal child-hood, maybe a bit lonely at times since his parents were often away from home and he had no siblings. At times he believes this is the reason for his somewhat quiet attitude. He learned to entertain himself by learning too play the acoustic guitar and sing; he entered a few local concerts and earned enthusiastic feedback on all his performances.
Being his parents are both highly respected in the medical field, they always had plenty of money, and live in a large elegant beach house. Griffin was never comfortable with flaunting his family's good-living, and kept himself on the down-low. When he turned sixteen, Griffin informed his parents he wanted too go to America to finish his schooling and take college courses to become a vet. His mother was hesitant and reluctant at first, but later warmed up too the idea after Griffin's father convinced her. Wanting their son to go to the best school possible, they finally settled upon Eddingborough, and Griffin's been attending the school for about a year; the flight over too America was the reason Griffin became so terrified of airplanes.

The rain fell gently to the ground; a soft melodic rhythm that kept the same steady beat as the icy drops collided with the wet pavement. Dusk had settled over the city landscape, engulfing it in a sea of twilight. As he walked, the downpour began to cease to a faint drizzle, a light film of moisture clinging to his light skin and dark hair. At this point, the last rays of daylight had been slaughtered by darkness, the only comfort from the shadows being the artificial light that cascaded down from the many buildings and streetlights around him.
He walked with his head held high, ocean eyes staring straight ahead in a focused stare, the gleam from the lamps casting a tall shadow before him. A drunken couple passed by, laughing and slurring words of false admiration to one another. He could see the Colors of their souls, and he resisted the urge to frown in distaste. Both of them were black, smelling of ash and bad memories. His brow furrowed in frustration; what an unpleasant mixture! Was there any good left in the pitiful world around him?
Every once in awhile, he’d find a good Soul and their Colors always made him smile in reassurance that maybe things weren’t so bad after all. Kale Warren had long since become accustomed to the softly glowing spheres that beat muffled in one’s chest, revealing they’re true character. It was part of his…’problem’. At least, that’s what his mother had called it. His ‘problem’. But his mother was dead. It didn’t matter what she thought.
Over the years, he had learned to control it, but not completely, and Kale figured he never would. It wasn’t a simple problem, either. It seamed that feelings set him off the most; if he felt an emotion to strong, things happened. When he was young, he remembered making it snow in the house because he had been sad about his cat dying. Whenever something like this happened, his mother had claimed he was in trouble. Just last week he’d gotten into a fight with someone at a bar, and had ended up exploding all the light bulbs in the building, including cracking and breaking a portion of the windows.
He was nearing one of the main streets of the overly crowded city. Kale hated it here, to be quite blunt. He was planning on leaving in the next couple days; that is, after he cleared up some business. Too many people…it was overwhelming. It made his heart flutter and his head spin to see so many Souls at one time. It pained him too see so many damaged Souls as well; the depths painted black and smoky gray, reeking of ash, regret, and dust.
Turning sharply around a corner, Kale was annoyed to see screaming neon signs and honking cars. As he walked, people shied away from him; something about his presence was inviting, and yet some people found his abnormal appealing aura to be a bit, well, strange. But that’s what he was, right? He was human, yes, and yet it seamed he’d been born into a world that didn’t accept or understand him.
Slipping through the crowds around him, Kale found himself in a near empty bar, reeking of cheap liquor and cigarettes.
“Perfect,” Kale said under his breath, moving towards one of the empty tables near the back wall, getting a few glances from the other inhabitants as he did so. Hesitantly, a young waitress approached his table, a shy grin on her lips.
“Can I get ya’ anything tonight?” She said, smiling suggestively.
“Yeah. Shots. Whiskey.” He stated, voice blunt and almost bored. The girl’s face fell slightly as she gave him a curt nod, walking briskly away.
Giving a roll of his eyes, Kale brought a small phone to his ear, having already dialed the desired number. The opposite line rang only for a moment.
“Kale, finally. Is it done?”
“Yes, Piper. Everything’s…cleaned up.”
The other voice sounded pleased.
“Good! Fabulous. I knew I could count on you.”
“…I’m coming over, be there in a few.”
That is, after he finished his shots.
