Welcome to Ashcroft Academy!
This Academy was founded approximately thirty years ago as a home for troubled teens. It has since then evolved into a counter-act about juvenile detention centers; and mental homes for teenagers that can be cured and work around their mental illness. We challenge students with hard classes, and a firm had in the class room. To pair this the students work in groups and alone with our highly trained counselors who are on the campus twenty-four seven and always ready to help a student in need.
We also boast one of the securest campuses in the nation. We have an array of ways to keep an eye on the students like night-time bed checks, day and night security cameras, and a twenty-four hour gate guard. We rarely need to use these though, because our students are so dedicated to working forward that they hardly ever break any of the rules. The biggest of our rules is that we have no substances hidden on campus, and no substances are to be injected, inhaled, smoked, eaten, or drunk while off campus. Some of our more addicted students have a little trouble with this main rule but they grow to learn very quickly in this setting.
We accept all manners of teens with criminal records and mental disorders from drug addicts to students with the messiah complex. If you have a teen in need, then this is the place to send them for their growing years so that they can grow up safe, stable and happy.

under the radar
Hey, welcome to Ashcroft.
The rumors are that this hell hole was started awhile back founded by some sicko who liked to collected troubled teens. But hey, I got that from the guy who is in for being addicted to sex. Well, what else did they tell you? Sure, it is a counter-act, but not a very good one. I would rather be in juvie than here-- soggy food, crappy teachers, and over caring counselors. The teachers would rather flirt than teach you, so most people skip anyways. The counselors are just about as messed up and crummy life us, always going up o coming off on their own prescribed high. The worst thing here is the crazies. Ashcroft is in a bit of a spot for money-- they just started accepting real crazies... You know skitzos, kleptos, personality disorders stuff like that. No one, not even the counselors know how to deal with them. They are pretty fun though-- I guess they make stuff a bit more interesting.
Oh yeah, real good security, no one ever gets outta here. Bull. We all get out. There are lots of ways. First off you can pay one of the nursing staff to take you out-- they will take money for anything, they'll pay you for anything too. I told you the school was in a tight stop for money? Well yeah, they turn off the cameras in the athletics field after curfew to save on the bills. The twenty-four hour guard? The shift change takes about twenty minutes. The other way to get out without breaking rules is to ask for a pass from the office-- they don't care, they give it to you. And there is always reachable "substance" on campus... always. Off campus too. Don't let yourself be fooled by the "rules that no one breaks" because everyone breaks them.
So yeah. The underbelly of Ashcroft is just as dirty as the mask is clean. Coming here is like throwing yourself into the pit of life-- and getting out is like a sobering affect. Or so says most of the graduates. But who knows. If you get accepted just be ready, I'm just warning you. Be ready.
